I know this has been long overdue ... my pictures at Wales and just in time before my next trip there! Hahaha. So without further delay, here is the coast of Wales ... think this was around the Mumbles:

Looking toward America. :o)

Terry and Rita walking along my view. :o)

This was taken as we were on our way to
Brecon Beacons National Park .. or maybe we were already there and just driving through. :o)

It's common to see sheep walking freely on common land.

Brian and Terry taking turns sitting on the a stored preacher's chair. :o)

They took me to
St Fagans National History Museum, where they show how welsh lived over past centuries.

The post office:

Museum guide sitting by the fireplace.

Nice Welsh cabinet.

Hay roofing!

Rita, Audrey and Brian speaking with a museum guide.

How the house looked like on the outside. See the hay roofing? :o) Apparently there were still some construction going on with scaffolding in view.

Apparently the Welsh found entertainment in cock fighting. This is the mini-stadium.

General stores

Their hardware store

Their grocery store

And believe it or not, this is their pigsty. looks like a huge beehive to me! OK, maybe a beehive made out of stone! :ob

Some theology books ...

OK, I like sheep ... so I take many pictures of them!

This one just kept staring at me. :o)

Some Catholic church. They seem very simple compared to your average Catholic church.

In Spain, they have the running of the bulls. But in Wales, they have the running of the sheep!

An old school house.

This is where I stayed, at Rita's house, who is the perfect host!

Back yard view

Some pictures I took on the train ride back to Paddington to eventually catch my flight at Heathrow. One of the few sunny days there....
